Lawyers for Platon Lebedev contest court decision reducing his jail time

MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - The lawyers for former Menatep CEO Platon Lebedev have filed an appeal contesting the decision made by the Belsky District Court, which has reduced Lebedev's jail time.

According to a report posted on the website of the press center for former Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev, a cassation appeal contesting the decision made by the Belsky District Court on November 1, 2012 reducing Lebedev's jail time to ten years has been filed with the judicial collegium on criminal cases of the Arkhangelsk region's court.
