Alfa Bank halves management board remuneration to 580 mln rubles in 9M
MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Alfa Bank nearly halved remunerations to its management board, including wages, premiums, commissions, discounts and reimbursements, and other material provisions, to 579.9 million rubles in January-September 2012, according to the bank's quarterly financial statement.
In the third quarter alone, Alfa Bank paid out 78.935 million rubles in remuneration to its management board. In the second quarter it paid out 438.994 million rubles, and in the first quarter - 61.971 million rubles.
Remuneration for the board of directors totaled 48.139 million rubles, down by almost 83%. Alfa Bank's management board has eight members, and its board of directors has 11.
Alfa Bank had an average of 17,792 employees in the third quarter, which is about the same it had in the second quarter. In comparison with the third quarter of 2011, its employee base was up 8.2%.
Alfa Bank's payroll totaled 10.717 billion rubles in January-September 2012, compared to 10.451 billion rubles the year before.
Alfa Bank was Russia's 7th largest bank by assets at the end of Q3 2012, according to the Interfax-100 ranking.
