RZD might sell Voitovich Wagon Plant's real estate on Dec 12

MOSCOW. Nov 13 (Interfax) - OJSC Russian Railways (RZD) has announced a tender for December 12, 2012 for the sale of property belonging to its branch, Voitovich Wagon Repair Plant (Moscow), the company said in a statement.

Two land sections covering 17 hectares, as well as a building complex, will be put up for sale at the tender.

The starting price for the sale comes to 2.046 billion rubles with subsequent bids at 50 million rubles. The terms for the auction foresee the sale of the property in a single lot.

CJSC Zheldoripotek is the tender agent.

Voitovich Wagon Repair Plant is one of Russia's oldest railway enterprises. Founded in 1868, the enterprise repairs railcars. The company has been a subsidiary of RZD since October 1, 2003.
