Belarusian economic growth in 2012 to depend on results of oil talks with Russia - Minsk
MINSK. Nov 14 (Interfax) - Belarusian Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov is for now refraining from making a forecast on the country's economic growth rate in 2012, saying the situation is uncertain and considerably depends on the results of oil talks with Russia.
"It is not so simple. The situation is rather uncertain, much depends on oil, on its supply volumes," Snopkov told Interfax when asked to comment on predictions for the key macroeconomic indicators for the year.
"The figures are not the main thing but positive development of the business environment," the minister told an Interfax correspondent on the sidelines of the II International Business Forum in Minsk Wednesday.
