New Russian armed forces chief of staff Gerasimov becomes Security Council member

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered including chief of staff of the Russian armed forces and Deputy Defense Minister Valery Gerasimov in the Security Council instead of former chief of staff Nikolai Makarov, the Kremlin reported on its website.
