Gazprom Neft to invest $250 mln in filling station chain development in Kazakhstan by 2020

ASTANA. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft-Kazakhstan plans to invest $250 million in the development of its filling station chain in Kazakhstan by 2020, the company's General Director Aymen Kasenov told the press on Thursday in Astana.

"Overall investments will total $250 million by 2020, and 110 filling stations will be up and running," he said.

Gazprom Neft-Kazakhstan currently has 30 filling stations in Kazakhstan. By the end of this year it will have 42, he said.

In 2012-2014, the company intends to invest $170 million in the development of its filling station chain, boosting the number of stations to 88. This year alone, investments in that area will come to $77 million.

Gazprom Neft-Kazakhstan manages a chain of filling stations located in Astana, Almaty, Taldykorgan, Shymkent, Taraz, Turkestan, Saryagash, Issyk, Kentau and the South Kazakhstan and Zhambyl regions. The company performs wholesale, small wholesale and retail sales of petroleum products produced at the Omsk Oil Refinery (OJSC Gazprom Neft - Omsk Oil Refinery).
