Moscow condemns Iraq terror acts

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has condemned the latest string of terrorist attacks in Iraq, where 26 people were killed and another 100 were injured in the capital Baghdad and other cities.

"Moscow resolutely condemns the terrorist attacks and supports the Iraqi authorities' efforts to counter the terrorist threat," the ministry said in a commentary on Thursday.

"We call on all political forces of the country to reach national reconciliation and abandon violence as a method of achieving political goals. We also want all problems facing the country to be tackled by peaceful methods through broad constructive dialogue, which would heed the interests of all political forces, ethnic groups and faiths," it said.
