Belarus would want to expand its presence in Russian defense contract - premier

MINSK. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich has spoken of the willingness of his country to be more widely involved in the Russian state defense contract.

"We agreed with [Russian Prime Minister Dmitry] Medvedev on the involvement of Belarusian companies in the Russian state defense contract. We would want to have greater presence in the defense contract. This applies to our projects on Integral, Peleng, the Wheeled Tractors' Plant and several other Belarusian enterprises," he said at a Friday press conference in Minsk.
