Zarubezhneft's investment in well drilling in Cuba's offshore comes to 1.5 bln rubles
MOSCOW. Nov 19 (Interfax) - Zarubezhneft's investment in the drilling of a well at Block L in Cuba's offshore zone will come to 1.5 billion rubles, the company said in a statement.
The well's depth will reach 6,500 meters, making it the deepest well in the region. Zarubezhneft plans to start drilling at the end of December. Drilling will be done from the Songa Mercur rig.
The company's total investment in Cuban projects in 2012 will come to 3.5 billion rubles. The bulk of these funds will go to Boca-de-Jaruco where Zarubezhneft is boosting oil outflow.
