Russia, U.S. determined to do away with impediments to business - Lavrov

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Moscow and Washington wish to do away with impediments to business, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Phnom Penh on Tuesday.

"We reaffirm our determination to remove impediments to business, in particular, the proposal of our president to elaborate a mechanism for the evaluation of investment problems faced by [our] businessmen in the U.S. and certain U.S. representatives in Russia," he said.

"We pondered situations encountered by our companies on the American market. Clinton said she would send a relevant signal and expressed her generally positive attitude," Lavrov said.
