Tax revenue for Russia's consolidated budget to grow 13% to 11 trln rubles in 2012 - tax authorities
MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Tax revenue for Russia's consolidated budget in January-October 2012 totalled 9.2 trillion rubles with over 13% growth for that period and, according to preliminary estimates, total tax revenue in 2012 should reach 11 trillion rubles, up 13% from 2011, the chairman of the Federal Tax Service, Mikhail Mishustin, said at an expanded meeting, the service said in a statement.
The press release said that Mishustin noted that tax revenues, excluding oil and gas revenue, increased by 11% and the difference came to only two percentage points whereas the influence of oil revenue was practically non-existent. The price for oil in this year rose by only 2.8%.
The growth rate for certain tax categories remains quite high. For instance, revenue from individual income tax increased by 14%, excise taxes - 29%, natural resources extraction taxes - 23%, and property taxes - 17%, which increased by 10%-11% in 2010-2011 (this figure should grow 20% for 2012).
Tax revenue for Russia's federal budget in January-October 2012 rose by 16.5% to 4.3 trillion rubles. "Tax revenue in the first ten months was practically the same figure as posted for the whole of 2011. According to preliminary estimates, 5.2 trillion rubles will be received for the whole of 2012," Mishustin said.
