Ukrainian communications market grows slightly in 10M
KYIV. Nov 26 (Interfax) - Ukrainian communications operators saw revenue rise 0.5% year-on-year in January-October to UAH 42.937 billion, the State Statistics Committee said.
Revenue from services to individuals and households rose 1.9% to UAH 16.123 billion (UAH 7.993/$1 on Nov 26).
Revenue from postal communications fell, by 6.3% to UAH 2.667 billion.
Revenue from mobile communications services rose 1.3% to UAH 26.39 billion. Revenue from long-distance telephony fell 14.3% to UAH 2.534 billion. Revenue from urban telephony fell 4.9% to UAH 3.697 billion, rural telephony rose 0.8% to UAH 291.1 million and IP telephony grew 18.4% to UAH 113.4 million.
Revenue from Internet services grew 9.1% to UAH 3.833 billion.
Revenue from cable television services rose 5.3% to UAH 1.251 billion.
