Wrestler Mirzayev freed in courtroom

MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky Court has sentenced world Sambo wrestling champion Rasul Mirzayev to two years in prison, finding him guilty of manslaughter, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

By law the day of detention is equal to two days in jail. Since Mirzayev was taken into custody in August 2011, his term has expired and he was released from custody in the courtroom.
