Access to Tver blocked from side of Moscow because of snow - source

MOSCOW. Nov 30 (Interfax) - Traffic police have closed access to Tver from the west because of heavy snowfalls, a police source told Interfax.

"Access to the city is blocked from the west, from the side of Moscow. Plenty of vehicles have amassed there. Traffic is practically non-existent. Access to the city may be unblocked after the traffic situation improves," he said.

The source noted that the traffic situation in Tver had not changed much.

"Emergency services respond to calls, but time of their arrival may vary depending on traffic conditions," the source said.
