Medvedev tells Rogozin to report on traffic situation in Tver region - Timakova
MOSCOW. Dec 2 (Interfax) - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has instructed Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to present a report on Monday on measures the Emergency Situations Ministry and road maintenance services are taking to do away with traffic congestion on the M-10 federal highway, Medvedev's Press Secretary Natalya Timakova told Interfax.
"Rogozin will speak about measures taken by the Emergency Situations Ministry and road-maintenance services to restore the traffic and to aid motorists trapped in traffic jams," Timakova said.
The prime minister is kept updated on the situation on Russian motorways and on road-maintenance and rescue services' efforts to deal with the situation. "All necessary conclusions will be made," she said.
Rogozin wrote in his Twitter blog earlier that Medvedev is alarmed by the situation on the motorways and that he would inform Medvedev about the situation on Monday morning.
