Slavneft to hold shareholder meeting on Feb 21 2013
MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - The board of Slavneft, which is jointly owned by Gazprom Neft and TNK-BP , has called an extraordinary shareholders meeting on February 21 2013, Slavneft reported.
The agenda includes the election of a new board of directors. Candidates should be put forward by January 21 2013 and the board will discuss the candidates on January 25.
Slavneft shareholders should also confirm a new version of the charter and several corporate documents.
Gazprom Neft and TNK-BP decided that on January 1 2013 they will switch to a new system of management for the joint company.
Shareholders distributed Slavneft assets between them and at each of these either Gazprom Neft or TNK-BP will carry out operating functions. Thus, Gazprom Neft will operate the Messoyakha project and Yanos and TNK-BP - Kuyumbminsky project and Megionneftegaz. Slavneft will be the corporate center and the composition of Slavneft assets will not change.
