Sberbank appoints Tokaeva from UBS managing director of Private Banking
MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Sberbank of Russia has appointed Anna Tokaeva the managing director of Private Banking, the bank said in a press release.
"Anna will report to Elena Shilina, Head of Private Banking and Advisor to one of the Deputy Chairmen of the Management Board of Sberbank of Russia. Anna's responsibilities will include developing the private banking business and servicing major clients," the press release said.
"Anna joins Sberbank Private Banking from UBS Group, where she worked for the past 12 years. During her tenure at UBS, Anna held a number of management positions ranging from Senior Account Manager/Associate Director (CRM and BD group) at UBS Global Asset Management in Chicago to Executive Director/Head of UBS Global Asset Management Russia and Executive Director of UBS Wealth Management's Russian representative office. She has an extensive track record of working with major institutional and private clients in Russia, the USA and Europe," Sberbank reported.
"We intend to fulfill the ambitious task of building world-class private banking in Russia, and I am certain that Anna's experience gained from working at global companies will help us reach this goal," Shilina is quoted as saying in the press release.
Private banking is a new area of business for the Sberbank Group that provides high-net-worth individuals first-class solutions for preserving and enhancing their wealth and that of family members, and also a wide range of non-financial services and lifestyle products.
