KazTransOil sees net profit drop 29.5% in 9M
ALMATY. Dec 7 (Interfax) - JSC KazTransOil posted a nine-month net profit of 24.8 billion tenge, down 29.5% year-on-year, according to the company's unaudited consolidated financial statement.
Gross profit fell 14.9% to 31.3 billion tenge, and revenue declined 3.2% to 103 billion tenge.
In January-September 2012, the company's assets decreased 1.7% to 442.5 billion tenge. Equity capital shrank 4.4% to 355.1 billion tenge, while liabilities expanded 11.3% to 87.4 billion tenge.
KazTransOil, part of National Company KazMunayGas, is a natural monopoly on the market for oil transportation through pipelines.
