Putin backs idea of returning to mixed State Duma elections

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin agrees with the proposals to go back to a mixed system of State Duma elections (by party lists and one-mandate election districts).

"Many political parties and experts propose going back to the mixed system of State Duma elections. I agree with it," Putin said.
