Putin calls for adoption of amendments to Code of Civil Procedure allowing people to file lawsuits on behalf of public organizations

MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Vladimir Putin has asked to speed up the submission of amendments to the civil legislation allowing people to file collective lawsuits in the interests of an unlimited range of persons and on behalf of public organizations.

"I am asking you to speed up the submission of the appropriate amendments to the Russian Code of Civil Procedure," Putin said in his address to the Federal Assembly.
