Candidate for prime minister Azarov addresses Verkhovna Rada
KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax) - The Verkhovna Rada, the parliament of Ukraine, is meeting to discuss Mykola Azarov's nomination as prime minister.
Azarov, who is currently making a speech in the Rada, topped the Party of Regions' election list in the December 28 parliamentary election. After being elected to the Rada, he tendered his resignation on December 3. The Cabinet also resigned.
On December 9, Yanukovych proposed Azarov as prime minister.
