Lukashevich calls question on possible use of force to protect Russians in Syria "strange"

MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax) - At a briefing held in Moscow on Friday, Russian Foreign Ministry official Alexander Lukashevich called the question as to whether Russia is considering the possibility of using military force to protect Russians in Syria "hypothetical and strange."

"I am not commenting on this question because it is so hypothetical and strange," Lukashenko said.

"I just don't know any historical facts when such scenarios eventuated," he said.
