Potanin unanimously elected Norilsk Nickel general director

MOSCOW. Dec 17 (Interfax) - The board of directors at Russian mining giant Norilsk Nickel has unanimously approved the appointment of Vladimir Potanin to the post of general director to replace Vladimir Strzhalkovsky, the company told the press.

The board also approved two EGMs - one for January 29 (cancellation of quasi-treasury shares) and another for March 11 (electing board of directors).
