Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping to make first foreign visit to Russia next year

BEIJING/MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping said at a meeting with the leadership of United Russia party in Beijing that he intends to make his first foreign visit to Russia.

"The time of the visit was also named - March 2013," member of the party delegation and member of United Russia Supreme Council Yury Shuvalov told Interfax.

He added that United Russia representatives led by chairman of the party's Supreme Council Boris Gryzlov became the first foreign delegation to meet the new Chinese Communist leader.
