Duma approves ban on foreign accounts, property for public servants in first reading

MOSCOW. Dec 21 (Interfax) - The State Duma on Friday passed in the first reading a ban on public servants owning bank accounts and property abroad punishable by fines running into millions and a prison term of up to three years.

A total of 437 deputies voted for it and one abstained. Nobody voted against.
