Ukraine's president appoints finance, energy ministers
KYIV. Dec 24 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed Eduard Stavitsky energy and mining minister
A decree to this effect was published on the president's official Web site on Monday.
In addition, Yuriy Kolobov was re-appointed finance minister. Yanukovyvh appointed Kolobov to the post of finance minister in February 2012. Before that appointment, he was first deputy head of the National Bank of Ukraine. The post of first deputy head of the National Bank has remained vacant since that tine.
In addition, Gennady Titov has been appointed minister of regional development, construction, and housing and utilities sector.
The president has also appointed Natalya Korolevskaya social policies minister. Korolevskaya leads the party Vpered-Ukraina, which did not make it to the parliament in the past elections.
Oleh Proskuryakov was appointed minister of environment and natural resources of Ukraine.
