Lukoil acquires raw-hydrocarbon section in Perm Territory for 527 mln rubles

PERM. Dec 24 (Interfax) - LLC Lukoil-Perm has bought for 526.9 million rubles the section Chashkinsky-2 in Perm Territory, in order to prospect for and produce raw hydrocarbons, a statement issued by the regional administration's press service Monday says.

"The winner of the [tender] is Lukoil-Perm. The Chashkinsky-2 section was sold for 526.9 million rubles against a starting price of 479 million rubles. The proceeds will go into the federal budget," the regional administration website says.

The auction was conducted by the territory's subsurface resources management department on December 21.

The section holds recoverable B oil reserves of 0.078 million tonnes and C1 reserves of 1.679 million tonnes.

Lukoil-Perm holds 123 licenses for the use of subsurface resources with the goal of searching out, prospecting for, and producing hydrocarbons. There are 133 deposits in operation in Perm Territory. Remaining recoverable oil reserves amount to 466.5 million tonnes. The group consists of LLC Lukoil-Perm, subsidiaries LLC UralOil and LLC Aksantovneft, and the joint ventures CJSC PermTOTIneft and CJSC Kama-Oil.
