Guilty verdict handed down to Kirovles defendant - Investigative Committee
MOSCOW. Dec 24 (Interfax) - A Kirov court has found General Director of the Kirovles company Vyacheslav Opalev guilty of misappropriating the company's assets in cooperation with well-known opposition blogger Alexei Navalny, the Investigative Committee's official spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax on Monday.
"The court ruled that the proofs collected by investigators were sufficient for a guilty verdict," Marking said.
The sentence was reduced, considering the defendant's willingness to cooperate with the court, Markin said.
Earlier Opalev pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the investigation.
