Federation Council committee hearing "anti-Magnitsky bill" goes into closed session
MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The Federation Council Constitutional Legislation Committee is holding a closed session. It is due to consider the bill banning U.S. adoptions of Russian children on Tuesday.
The Committee asked journalists to leave when it started to consider a bill updating the procedure for opening a criminal case against Federation Council members and State Duma deputies, an Interfax correspondent reports.
The "anti-Magnitsky bill" is the fourth item on the agenda. A Federation Council representative said that the whole session would be closed.
