Ex-head of Rosimushchestvo Moscow dept suspected of over 10 Bln ruble embezzlement
MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The former head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management's Moscow department has been detained on suspicion of attempting real estate fraud of more than 10 billion rubles, a representative of the Russian Interior Ministry's Main Economic Security Department told Interfax on Tuesday.
"The former official has been detailed. His home has been searched," he said, without naming the suspect.
Employees of the Federal Agency for State Property Management's Moscow department, the Moskovsky Kapital (Moscow Capital) Bank and a private arbitration court, managers and executives of the NTC Gran and Proyekt companies, and personnel of a number of commercial firms are suspected of the illegal settling of state property.
