Razgulay to get new general director
MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - Mikhail Galuyev, who has been agro-holding OJSC Razgulay Group's general director for less than a year, will be replaced, the company said in its materials.
The materials said that the preterm end to his position and the election of new company chief is on the agenda for a board of directors meeting planned for Thursday.
The agenda also features a discussion on the terms of the agreement for the preterm termination of the general director's contract.
The company told Interfax that Galuyev's contract will be the terminated upon a mutual agreement. Galuyev has decided to take up a new project and is leaving the company.
Galuyev was elected company chief in March of this year. Prior to this he worked at Danone-Unimilk.
Razgulay has yet to name a successor. The board of director's agenda also includes a point on combining the general director position with management of other enterprises.
Established in 1992, Razgulay Group unites three branch areas: grain, agricultural and sugar, and interaction with rail networks. Razgulay controls over 460,000 hectares of land, including 338,000 hectares in handling last year. It has operations in 18 Russian regions.
In October 2010, Avangard Asset Management acquired 21.42% of Razgulay Group's stock from its founder and ex-president Igor Potapenko. Avangard now owns 29.99% of the group.
