Russian govt approves state development program for aviation industry until 2025

MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - The Russian government has approved the state program "Development of the Aviation Industry in 2013-2025", according to a December 24 order from the Cabinet of Ministers.

On November 23, the Russian government approved the state program with planned budget earmarks at 1.2 trillion rubles. Total financing for the program should come to 1.7 billion rubles. The program should receive 78.3 billion rubles in budget funds in 2013, 2014 - 107 billion rubles, and 2015 - 123.5 billion rubles.

The program expects Russia's world market share for civilian aircraft to reach 3.2% by 2025. This figure should reach 12% for civilian helicopters.

The share of military aircraft will reach 10.9% and military helicopters - 16.5%.

Revenue in the aircraft-building industry in Russia should increase by 250% during the implementation of the state program.
