Two men who opened fire on police station killed in Karachayevo-Cherkessiya
MOSCOW. Jan 2 (Interfax) - Two men who opened fire on a district police station have been eliminated by law enforcement officials in Karachayevo-Cherkessiya, a source in the law enforcement agencies told Interfax.
"Two unknown men in a BMW opened fire on a Malokarachayevsky district police station around 3:30 p.m. Moscow time. They tried to leave the scene. A patrol UAZ vehicle began chasing them," the source said.
The BMW eventually hit a tree, the source said. The men got out of the car and opened fire on the policemen in the UAZ.
"The policemen returned fire, eliminating the attackers. They are now being identified," the source said.
