Russia-focused equity funds get $56 mln capital in week

MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - Funds investing in the Russian equity market saw $56 capital inflow in the week January 3-7, compared with outflow of $85 million in the week December 27-January 2, Emerging Portfolio Fund Research (EPFR) said.

"This was mainly due to ETFs, as they took in $77 million of new money, while traditional funds lost $21 million. This was the first week of significant inflows into Russian equities since the first week of October last year, however still very modest," Uralsib Capital said in an analytical note.
