Ukrainian pipe production down 11.4% in 2012
KYIV. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Steel pipe production in Ukraine fell 11.4% in 2012 to 1.77 million tonnes, an informed source told Interfax.
Pipe production fell to 80,100 tonnes in December, from 121,200 tonnes in November.
Pipe production in the year as a whole rose most at the Khartsyzsk Pipe Mill and plants controlled by the Interpipe corporation. Output there fell in Q3 but recovered October and November, only to fall again in December.
