Ukreximbank places $500 mln in 5-yr Eurobonds 8.75% - source
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax) - Ukraine's state export-import bank (Ukreximbank) has placed five-year Eurobonds worth $500 million, a source on the financial market has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The source said that the bonds were placed at 8.75% per annum.
As reported, referring to a source of the agency, the bank on Tuesday, with the participation of lead-managers Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley, placed Eurobonds worth $500 million. According to information from another source, the sum of the issue could exceed $500 million.
Ukreximbank was founded in 1992. According to the National Bank of Ukraine, it was the third largest bank among the 176 banks operating in the country as of July 1, 2012 in terms of overall assets (UAH 75.543 billion).
At present, the bank's 2014 Eurobonds in hryvnia, worth UAH 2.385 billion ($300 million), 2015 Eurobonds worth $750 million, and 2016 Eurobonds worth $125 million are in circulation.
