Polonsky returned to prison cell after interrogation in Cambodia

PNOM PENH. Jan 16 (Interfax) - A court in Cambodia has questioned Russian businessman Sergei Polonsky and two other Russians and sent them back to their prison cells, the businessman's interpreter, Samut Tel, told Interfax.

"The court session is over. The judge questioned the Russians and once again studied the findings of the criminal case. No decisions concerning the Russians were made, in particular to change the measure of restraint," he said on the phone from Cambodia on Wednesday.

He said he did knot know when the next court hearing would be held.

Earlier on Wednesday Tel told Interfax the judge investigating the case would question Polonsky, Konstantin Baglai, and Alexander Karachinsky suspected of attacking Cambodian sailors at the investigation block of the Sihanoukville city prison.

Polonsky's friend, British businessman Sergei Vladi, told Interfax, "It is absolutely obvious that the matter is moving toward a favorable outcome."
