Ukrainian Supreme Economic Court binds Ukraine to pay UESU debts to Russian Defense Ministry
KYIV. Jan 21 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Supreme Economic Court has pronounced lawful and upheld a decision of the Kyiv Economic Court and a resolution of the Kyiv Appeals Court that bind the Ukrainian government's payment of debts of the Unified Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) to the Russian Defense Ministry.
The Supreme Economic Court panel made the ruling on Monday upon hearing the cassation appeal of the government, the Treasury and UESU with regard to the decisions of the first-instance and appeal courts.
The decision is final and cannot be challenged.
