Russia won't export energy to Asia to detriment of European market - Dvorkovich
MOSCOW. Jan 22 (Interfax) - Russia will not export energy, including oil and gas, to Asia to the detriment of the European market, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told reporters.
"The eastern markets are good ones and supplies there will be increased, but not to the detriment of the European [market]," Dvorkovich said.
"All demand that there will be in Europe for Russian energy will be met in full," he said.
Dvorkovich said the dependability of Russian energy exports would be discussed at the economic forum in Davos. "We'll be answering questions on this and presenting our position - it was determined long ago. Energy security can only be ensured by real partnership, real integration and taking real interests into consideration," he said.
Russia is looking forward to "real partnership" at talks between the European Commission and Gazprom and Transneft , he said.
