Dollar, euro slip on Moscow exchange Tuesday
MOSCOW. Jan 22 (Interfax) - The U.S. dollar and the euro lost a little bit of ground in Moscow exchange trading on Tuesday amid mixed world capital market dynamics and rising demand for ruble liquidity, and the ruble gained 4 kopecks on the bicurrency basket ($0.55 and EUR 0.45), which slipped to 34.74 rubles.
By 7:00 p.m. Moscow time, the dollar was down 4.8 kopecks from Monday close at 30.22 rubles/$1. The EUR had shed 3.05 kopecks to 40.2645 rubles/EUR1 by that time.
