Accountant from Derbent sparkling wine factory killed in Dagestan

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Unidentified gunmen shot and killed an accountant of the Derbent sparkling wine factory, a source with local law enforcement agencies told Interfax.

"A car was spotted about one kilometer away from the village of Chinar on the Kavkaz federal highway, nearby which a body presumably of an accountant from the sparkling wine factory was found. Cartridge cases were also found nearby, which says that he was shot, and the unidentified killers fled," he said.

The circumstances of the incident have yet to be determined, and measures have been taken to hunt down the killers, he said.
