Gazprom to build 15 autogas filling stations in Germany by 2015
MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Gazprom Germania GmbH plans to build 15 autogas filling stations in Germany by the end of 2014, the company said in a press release.
At the moment, Gazprom Germania operates six autogas filling stations in Germany. It plans to build an additional four new filling stations, which will be commissioned by the end of 2013, in Berlin, Potsdam, Leipzig and Oehringen.
At Gazprom Germania's order, erdgas mobil, which built four autogas filling stations for the company last year, will construct the stations.
By the end of this year, Gazprom Germania, together with its subsidiary Vemez, will launch an additional seven autogas filling stations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Gazprom has faith in the high potential of using natural gas as a motor fuel because of its environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, reliability and economy.
"That's why we will continue to invest in expanding our chain of autogas filling stations," Chief Managing Director of Gazprom Germania Vyacheslav Krupenkov is quoted as saying in the press release.
