It is important for both Russia, UK to improve bilateral relations - Medvedev
DAVOS. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Russia will try to improve relations with the United Kingdom, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
"Of course. It is important for Britain and Russia as well," Medvedev said in an interview with Bloomberg TV in Davos on Wednesday when asked whether Russia will seek to improve relations with the United Kingdom.
Russian-British relations were drastically spoiled after the death of ex-FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko in London. The British side halted law enforcement cooperation with Russia and negotiations on the relaxation of visa restrictions, as well as a number of other projects. Political relations between the two countries have not improved ever since.
