Eni wins three Cyprus offshore licenses

MILAN. Jan 24 (Interfax) - A consortium of Eni (80%) and Kogas (20%) has won licenses to explore three blocks offshore Cyprus, including Block 9, which was of interest to a consortium of NOVATEK, Total and Gazprombank.

Eni said in press release that the consortium it led received Blocks 2, 3 and 9.

Block 9 is adjacent to a recently discovered field offshore Israel.
