Tatneft increases associated gas refining 6% in 2012
KAZAN. Jan 24 (Interfax) - OJSC Tatneft operation Tatneftegazpererabotka processed 759.7 million cubic meters (mcm) of associated petroleum gas in 2012, 43.5 mcm (6.1%) more than in 2011, a company press release says.
All in all, 843.5 mcm of associated gas was collected (53.1 mcm (6.7%) more than the year before).
The processing of broad fractions of light hydrocarbons amounted to 285,600 tonnes, and that of high-sulphur gas 120 mcm (up 8.8 mcm, or 7.9%).
Tatneftegazpererabotka was set up in 2002 on the basis of three enterprises: the Tatneft operation Tatneftegaz, the Minnibayev gas refinery, and OJSC Transuglevodorod. The operation engages in the collection, transport, receipt, and processing broad fractions of light hydrocarbons.
