Gazprom could start producing gas offshore Vietnam in June 2013
MOSCOW. Jan 25 (Interfax) - Gazprom International and PetroVietnam have signed a document by which the Gazprom subsidiary becomes an official party to the production-sharing agreement for blocks 05-2 and 05-3 offshore Vietnam with a 49% stake, Gazprom said in a press release.
"Work at blocks 05-2 and 05-3, where we expect the first gas to be produced in June this year, will be on schedule now Gazprom has joined the project," the president of PetroVietnam, Do Van Hau, was quoted as saying.
The head of Gazprom International, Valery Gulev, said the company would "do all it can to fulfill its obligations to develop blocks 05-2 and 05-3."
