MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax-AVN) - The South Korean space rocket KSLV-I (The First Korean Space Launch Vehicle), the first stage of which had been designed and built by the Russian Khrunichev Center, successfully put into orbit the STSAT-2C micro-satellite, a Khrunichev representative told Interfax-AVN by phone from Naro.
"The STSAT-2C research micro-satellite separated from the rocket's second stage," Khrunichev spokesman Alexander Bobrenev said.
It was reported earlier that STSAT-2C would take an orbit with the apogee of approximately 1,500 kilometers and the perigee of 300 kilometers.
