Gazprom Gazenergoset to start auctioning off helium on e-trading platform

MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - Gazprom Gazenergoset will put up gaseous helium for sale on the eOil.ru electronic trading platform on a monthly basis, the company reported.

The first auction will take place on February 1. In total, 15,750 cubic meters of helium will be offered for purchase. One lot is 105 cubic meters, with a starting price of 265 rubles per cubic meter. Based on the auction results, the product will be delivered in February. In the future, gaseous helium auctions will be conducted a month preceding the month of delivery.

"Auctions will provide consumers with the additional opportunity to acquire gaseous helium shipped in special containers and cylinders," Gazprom Gazenergoset said.

Gazprom Gazenergoset is a specialized operator of petroleum product, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), sulfur and helium sales for the Gazprom Group on the Russian market.
