Russia ready to discuss solutions to Syria crisis within Geneva group - diplomat

MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich has reiterated the advisability of further discussions within the Geneva Action Group for Syria on ways to resolve the conflict in the country.

"The Russian side is prepared to discuss the whole set of issues surrounding the implementation of the Geneva document, including in light of obligations assumed by external players. In this context, we think that it would be advisable to continue discussions within the Geneva Action Group," he said at a press briefing in Moscow on Thursday.
