Rimera starts producing new equipment for Transneft

MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - CJSC Pipe Bends Plant (SOT), a member of the Rimera Group based in Magnitogorsk in the Chelyabinsk region, has started producing new bends for maintenance activity on OJSC Transneft's main oil pipelines, Rimera said in a statement.

The pressed knuckle bends have a diameter ranging from 325 to 530 millimeters. Rimera plans to ship out over 100 pipes in the first quarter of this year. These bends will be used for the construction or repair of main oil pipelines such as OJSC North-West Main Oil Pipeline, OJSC Uralsibnefteprovod and OJSC Privolzhsknefteprovod.

Rimera provides Transneft with fittings and large-diameter pipes for maintenance needs and the construction of main oil pipelines, such as Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO), Baltic Pipeline System (BPS) and Purpe-Samotlor. Last year, Rimera more than doubled deliveries to Transneft.
